Henry Miller, barque, for Newcastle, N.S.W., this day Hannah Newton, brigantine, for Newcastle, N.S.W., this day Mahia, cutter, for Wairoa, on Monday Eagle, ketch tor Auckland via Poverty Bay, this . «ay " The s.s. Lord Ashley left Port Chalmers on the 2nd instant, at 6 p.m., and arrived at Lyttelton next day at 230 p.m. Left for Wellington at 7p m. same day, arriving at her destination at 4-15 p.m on the 4th. Left for this port on the 9th instant, at 345 p.m., and arrived in the roadstead at 4 p.m. next day. The Lord Ashley took her departure for Auckland at noon on Wednesday. The ketch Eagle loft Poverty Bay on Tuesday last at 8 p.m., with the intention of taking on board the fugitives from Poverty Bay in charge of Captain Westrupp, who were attempting to escape overland. During Wednesday night kept lights burning to attract attention, and early next morning ran into Whangawehi, where Captain Westrupp and party were met with and taken on board. At noon on Wednesday left for this port, which was reached at noon next day. The schooner Tawera, Kennedy, left Poverty Bay on Tuesday at 7 p.m., carrying 20 passengers, mostly women and children, from that port, and arrived in the roadstead at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. The s.s. Ahuriri arrived in the roadstead from Auckland on Thursday, at Ip.m., and waa chartered by Governmeut to proceed to Poverty Bay with the Native Contingent. Sho will take her departure for Wellington immediately after arrival from that port. 3 The St. Kilda, Government gunboat, took her deparlui'e for Wairoa at 730 p.m. on Thursday last, carrying Government despatches. The barque Henry Miller will leave for Newcastle, N.S.W., this day. The Ida ZeiKler, ship, from London, arrived at Auckland on Sunday last. She left Gravesend on the sth August, and has thus made the passage in 96 days. Sho has a good deal of cargo for this port. •The Wellington, s.p., which arrived in Wellington b yesterday, was expected to leave last evening for , this port [with 20 armed constabulary] and Auckland.
