ON the 27th June, 1866, Moteewallah, a Printer, was convicted at the Supreme Court, Calcutta, of counterfeiting the LABELS of Messrs. Cbosse & Biackwelli, London, and was sentenced by Mr. Justice Phear to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment; And on the 30th of the same month, for SELLING SPURIOUS ARTICLES bearing Labels in imitation of Messrs. Crosse and Blackwell's, Shaik Bacuoo was sentenced, by the Suburban Magistrate at Sealdah, to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment. Caution.— Any one selling SPURIOUS OILMEN'S STORES, under Orosse and Blackwell's name, will be liabl e to the same punishment, and will be vigorously prosecuted, Purchasers are recommended to examine all goods carefully before taking delivery of them.
