A PPLIOATIONS for Slaughtering Licenses XjL for the Public Slaughter House, will be received at the Inspector of Sheep Office up to SATURDAY, the 11th April, 18G8. G. NOTICE is hereby given that, by Bill of Sale dated the eighth day of May, 1866, duly filed in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and made between Alexander St. Clair Inglis, of Spring Hill, in the Ruataniwha District, in the Province of Hawke's Bay, Sheepfarmer, of the one part, and John Johnston of Wellington, Merchant, of the other part, the said A. St. Clair Inglis did assign to the said John Johnston all that flock of Sheep hereinafter described and all inorease thereof ; and, further, take notice that in the month of March instant the said A. St. Clair Inglis did at Spring Hill aforesaid give over possession of the said flock of Sheep, about four thousand in number, to Charles Lambert, the overseer of the said John Johnston, on his behalf. Notice is further given that all the said Sheep are earmarked with the registered ear-mark of the aaid John Johnston, and that the same sheep and all increase thereof are held and depastured as the property of and on account of the said John Johnston.
