To the Editor of the Chatham Islands Chronicle, Sin,— lt kas often,been. a subject of remark ;tbat the stock of this island has been allowed, to propa. gate for years without having the advantage of any -. change of Wood ; yet upon close examination there appears no indication of the general results of such neglect.
