MAIiS OIOSE,— ' For Canterbury, per s.s., Star of the South, this day at 10 a.m For the United Kingdom, via Panama, also for the British American colonies, the United States, and other countries of North and South America, the mails for conveyance per Royal Mail Steamship Kaikoura, from Wellington, will close at the Chief Post Office in Napier, on Friday next February 1, 1867, at 11 a.m., on the Spit, and 10 a.m., at the branch office Shakespeare road. ♦„*, Registered Letters received and Money Orders granted till Thursday, 31st inst., at 5 p.m. PETER BOURKE, Chief Postmaster.
