On Wednesday, the sale was marked by a large attendance and spirited bidding. 132 town sections in the Townsliip of Clyde, averaging £ acre each, fcveraged £15 each, the total amounting to {81270,95.6 d.> Owing to the briskness of the competition, and the time thus taken up, the bale of the suburban septions hod to be postponed till Friday.. Yesterday, accordingly, the sale was resumed —the bidding /being again spirited. 52 town sections realised £577 35. ; 37 suburban sections, class No. I,- £609; 36 lections, class Nol' r 2, 41,566 55., and 18 of class 3, £979 15s.
