AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. Mb. Buokland, for the week ending 16th June, reports as follows :— « The horse market is completely glutted with inferior stock, and prices obtained for them are very low, 15 head from the coast, on Saturday, averaging but £3 10s. each, leaving but £3 per head after payment of freight, and expenses. Draught hovses that oan be depended ou have brought during the week from £iO to £72 10s. No very good riding or light harness horses were offered. Maize on Saturday last brought from ss. to 6s. 6d. ; oats, 3s. 9d. to 4s. lOd. ; bran, 2s, per bushel. Dairy stook of all descriptions are in demand, and bring higher rates than ruled a month since. The market on Thursday last was fully supplied with [dairy cows, and any offering within two months of calving, if in good condition, brought from £12 to £16 ; at the oalving, from £16 to £20 ; dry cows, from £5 10s, to £9 10s. Fat cattle have risen in price ; above 90 head were sold. Australian pxen, ex Bengal,' averaged £10 16s. 6d. Colonial fatted oattle were worth from 15s to 30s. per head more than on Thursday last. The fat sheep market was fully supplied with stock of good quality, and prices ruled higher than previous weeks, fat Merino wethers bringing from 28s. to 325. each ; store Merinos, 18sf\ halfbred Leicester wethers, in good condition, 335. 6d. each.
