Conveyance of Mails. SEALED TENDERS will be reoeived at this office until SATURDAY, the 20th Mat, 1865, at 4 o'clock p.m., from persons desirous of CONTRACTING for the following MAIL SERVICE for the period of SIX MONTHS from Ist July next, WEEKLY, 1 . Between -Napier and Waipawa, in a two or four wheoled vehicle, drawn fay not less than two horses. Lookers for the mail bags to be water-tight and roomy. To start from the Chief Post Offioo, Napier, on TUESDAY, 4th Jtjlt, at 7 o'olodk a.m. and on every sucoeeding Tuesday at the same hour, and to arrive at Waipawa at 4 p.m, of the same day. The Contractor to be bound in a penalty that wiil enable the Chief Postmaster, at any time that the Contractor may fail in oarrying out his Contract, to employ a substitute j and that he is to Receive, Convey, and Deliver, as addressed, all such mails as may, be. delivered to him by any Postmaster at any. Post Office on the line. The Contractor will be permitted to carry Pas- . ■ sengera and Parcels, provided it . does not in anyway interfere with the mail service, The return mail to leave Waipawa on Friday, in every week, at 1 a.m., and to arrive at this Office at 4 p.m., of the same, day. " 2. Waipawa to PoRANaAHAu. To leave Waipawa every Tuesday, half«anhour after the. arrival of the mail from Napier, and to arrive, at Waipukurau the same evening. Also to leave Te Waipukurau for Porangahau at 7 a.m., on every Wednesday morning, arriving at Porangahau at 3 p.m., on the same day. The return mail to start from Porangahau at 10 a.m., on every Thursday, and to reach Waipawa in . the evening of the same day, 3. CMTB to POTJEEEBEE. 4. Waipukttratt to GwAVAS (Carlyon's Station), calling at Grant's, Lambert's, and Dunoan's out-stations, — and also at Hampden, and thence back to Waipawa, by Duncan's out-station ;- to leave Te Waipukurau at 8 a.m.. dri every Wednesday, and to arrive at Waipawa on the evening of every Thursday. . : 0.
