The Asphalted Felt is easily applied by any handy laborer or unpractised person, and, from its lightness, requiring only half the timber in the construction. of the roof. It is perfectly impervious to wet, a non-conductor of heat, and by long and well-tested experience, has been found to stand well in all climates. It is extensively used for roofing houses, out-buildings, and sheds ; — for laying flat roofs, gutters, repairing iron roofs, covering garden frames, lining granaries, storehouses, or walls. A small house may be lined and roofed with the Felt in a few hours. Directions for applying the Felt can be had from the undersigned, where also can be seen samples of— Eugert and Eolfe's Ship Sheathing Hair Felt And Hair Felt for covering boilers, pipes, and cylinders of steam engines.
