rpHE REGISTRATION OFFICER for the JL Province of Hawke's Bay calls attention to the annexed clauses of the "Registration of Electors' Act, 1858," and to the form as required by the Act. * "Every duly qualified person desirous of having his name placed on any Electoral Roll, or of having any addition or alteration made to of in the statement- of his qualification upon any such Roll, may make a claim for that purpose, in the form numbered 1 in the Schedule to this Act, or to the like effect." "No such claim and declaration shall be received, unless it be given to the Registration Officer of the Electoral District, in respect of which such olaim shall be made, in the month of March in the year in which it is preferred." And in doing this the Registration Officer informs persons that the declaration at foot as well as the claim, must be signed, and that claims with declarations unsigned will be rejected ; and that . in the description of the properties sufficient particulars should be stated to shew the identity of the property, and that where the station or block has no number the number of the application at the Land office should be given.
