ELECTORAL NOTICE, ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF NAPIER, IN THE PROVINCE OF HAWKE'S BAY. TN PUB SUANCE of the provisions of an • Act of the General Assembly of New .Zealand, intituled "The Provincial Elections Act of 1.858," I, John Curling Esq., Returning Officer.for the Electoral District of Town of Napier, in the Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the twentyninth day of November, 1859, issued under the hand of his Honor the Superintendent of the said Province, an Election will be held for the return, of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the said Provincial Council of the said Province for the said Electoral District of NAPIER, in consequence of the seat of Thomas Henry FitzGerald Esquire, in the said Provincial Council, having been vacated by his resignation of the same ; and that the Nomination of the Candidates will take place at the, School-house, Hastings street, at noon^ on Monday the twelfth day of December, 1859, and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on Tuesday the thirteenth day of December, 1859, and the state of the Poll declared at the close thereof.
