ARRIVED. Sept. 28— Effort; schooner, 32 tons, G-. Foresters from Wairoa, with 5000 feet sawn timber, 600 bushels maize, 300 bushels wheat, 500 lbs. hams and bacon, 1 case.— Gr. Forester & Co., agents. Sept. 29— Wonga Wonga, c. s., 103 tons, F. Eenner, from Wellington, with 235 pckgs. sundries. 24 bags salt, 1£ tons flour, 36 bushels oats, 5 bags potatoes. Passengers, Messrs. Unmack, Munn, Allen, Till, Wilson, Miss Lyndon, Miss Hannon, Mrs. Jeifares and family, Mrs. Babone and family, Mr. Vennell ; steerage, A. Parsons, Mrs. Wood and 2 children, J. Carker. — J. A. Smith, agent. Sept. 30 — Pegasus, ketch, 35 tons, "W. Brier, from Auckland, with 70 tons firewood. SAILED. Sept. 27 — Esther, schooner, 54 tons, Blair, for Wellington, with 200 sheepskins, 50 hides, 12 bales wool 4032 lbs. — Master, agent. Sept. 27 — Eliezer, schooner, 56 tons, Kean, for Auckland, with 5 £ chests tea, 7 cases (1 billiard table), 3 tons flour, 1 cask and 2 pases tallow. — Master, agent. Sept. 30 — Wonga Wonga, s. s., 103 tons, F. Eenner, for Wellington, in ballast. Passengers, Mrs. Duncan and child, Messrs. Luxford, Godly, Couper, Curling, Vennell, and King ; steerage, Thomas Smith.— J. A. Smith, agent. There have been two arrivals in Wellington frorri London — the "Matoaka" and the ' Countess of Fife." _ m : Amongst the vessels laid on in England for New Zealand, we observe that the "Wild Duck," 1500 tons, of Shaw. Saville & Cb's. line, is advertised for Wellington and Hawke'sc'Bay. . : , Ths "White Swan," we believe, may be expected from the south on Wednesday next.
