* Napier, August 8, 1859. DEAR SIR,— I have to-day withdrawn the advertisement relating to the partnership between yOtti|fether and yourself. It was prepared injmy office during my absence at Wellington by a clerk whom I have since my return discharged. -Had J been here no such absurd advertisement Iwould have appeared with my consent and advice, as It wa9 well known to the public M&at you and your father had been in partnership for years, and as no dissolution thereof had been advertised or gazetted, no fresh arrangements could be legally entered into. ; r Yours faithfully, Wm.
