SETTLERS desirous of obtaining paß3a ; ges; fo> their relatives or friends, from Greatßi'itain' to Napier, are requested to make application 'ini writing to this office, particularising, the natnesj probable ages, and place of residence of the proposed emigrants, accompanied by promissory notes duly signed by the applicant and his surety, and calculated after the rate mentioned in Regulation 6. In case of any emigrant applied for, accepting th.3 offer of a passage but not presenting himself loi* embarkation at the time and place appointed by the Shipping Agents in England, and so being left behind, one half of the passage money will be forfeited, and must be paid to the Provincial Government on demand, by the applicants in the colony, for which the first-mentioned promissory notes will be a security.' 4. An allowance, according to Act of Parliament, will be made by the Shipping Agents in London, in case of the ships not Bailing to the day. 5.
