AT A MEETING .of the Committee for the management of the SCHOOL HOUSE,- NAPIER, held pursuant to advertisement on Tuesday Evening last, — . It was proposed by Mr. Tiffen seconded by I Capt. Newman, — 'That the Convener of the Com- ■ mittee for the management of the School House, Napie^ callta-generai Meeting of the Subscribers to that building, to be held at the School House, on MONDAY, the 17th July next, at 7 o'clock in the evening, for the purpose of electing Trustees under the Education Act of this Province, and to adopt measures for the repair of the building out of the funds voted for that purpose by the Provincial Council.' SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Office, up to 21st July, at noon, for the CONVEYANCE of IMMIGRANTS from the Port of London or Liverpool, to tlus place. The number to be conveyed at any one time would for the present, probably, vary from 20 to 60 persons. Parties tendering are requested to state the lowest number of Immigrants that would make it worth their while to send the vessel that brought them out from England, up to this place ; and the cost per head'in this way j — also the cost per head if landed at the intermediate Ports of Wellington or Auckland, and forwarded from there in the ordinary Coasting vessels Tenders to be endorsed, "Tenders for the conveyances of Immigrants from the Port of London or Liverpool. A PILOT STATION to bo built at the entrance of Port.Napier. A NATIVE HOSTELRY at Napier, to be built near Slaughter House reserve. An addition to the LOCK UP, at Napier. A LOCK UP at Clite.
