ATA MEETING of the Subscribers to a Pubj\. lie or- Common School House at Clive, held -at the residence of J> B, Fergusbn Esq^, on Saturday, June 18, 1859,— ; - 4 It was prosposed by J. Rhodes Esq., seconded by John Chombere Esq., that J-. B. Ferguson Esqv do take the chair. Proposed by J. Rhodes Esq., that a Committee be apoointed for the management of the School for one year, to consist of the following gentle-men,-viz :— Messrs. F. Dyett, J. Rhodes, Philip Dolbell, J. Fougere, John Chambers, W. Hayes, John McKinnon, .J. B. Ferguson, Edmund Tuke, W. Jarvis, W. Couper, Francis Bell, one third to form a quorum. Proposed by John Chambers Esq., seconded by Mr. John McKinnon, 'that Trustees or Managers be appointed in conformity with Clause four of the Hawke's Bay Education Act, to carry out the views of the Subscribers.' Proposed by Mr. John McKinnon, seconded by Mr. Philip Dolbell, 'that John Chambers Esq. Joseph Rhodes Esq., and J. B. Ferguson Esq., be the Trustees. , J. B. FERGUSON, Chairman. Proposed by Mr. J. Rhodes, seconded by Mr. John McKinnon, 'that a vote of thanks be given to the Chairman.' Proposed by Mr. J. Rhodes, seconded by Mr. F. Dyett, that J. B. WHEREAS some evil disposed person or persons did on the evening of Sunday, June 12, or early on Monday morning, June 13, 1859, wilfully break down portions of two four rail fences and did also remove the rails from four slip pannels, so leaving the said slip pannels open, and did further steal and drive away about Eighty (80) Rams, and about Oue Hundred and Seventy (170) Ewes with Lambs "at their side, from my paddocks at Mount Vernon, Waipukurau. — THIS IS TO GIVE NOTICE that the above reward will bo paid by me to any person or persons who will give such information as shall iead to the conviction of the said offender or offenders. BROWNING, AUCKLAND, Or whomsoever it may concern, HPAKE NOTICE, that I, the Undersigned AlexJL ander Blair, intend forthwith to erect a dividing fence between my freehold property, being Section No. 101, Town of Napier, and that belonging to you, being Section No. 100, Town of Napier, in conformity with the Act of the Provincial Council for the Province of Wellington, Session 1, Number 13, and I hereby require you to assist in erecting the said dividing fence within thirty-one days from this date, otherwise I shall proceed to erect the same and call upon you for payment of one half the cost of erecting or making the whole of such dividing fence.
