TN PURSUANCE of advertisement-tlated 28th JL February, iSS9, calling upon all Runholders to pay assessments due on their runs for the year 1858, — and in reference to the sth section of clause XL of the additional Land Regulations of the Province of Wellington, wherein is specified, that such assessment "shall become due and payable during the month of January in each year," and also to the 6th section thereof, which provides "when any arrears of rent shall remain unsettled for a period of three months, in that case the said License shall cease and determine," — and that in consequence of the non-adjustment of the run accounts between the Provinces of Wellington and Hawke's Bay, until a period subsequent to the rents becoming due, the above sections of law were not enforced :— NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the assessments on all runs under Lease in this Province musfc be paid into the Crown Land Office, Napier, on or before the 30th day of June next, or the Licenses for the same will cease and determine as in such sections provided. NOTICE. npHE REVISING OFFICER desires to call JL the attention of persons claiming to have their names retained or inserted in the List of Voters for any Electoral District in the Province of Wellington, or County of Hawke, to the 22nd Clause of the Registration of Electors Act, 1858, and to intimate that in cases wherein the descriptions of property are in his judgment insufficient for the purpose of identification, as, ( among others,) "Land," "Land, Hutt," "Land, Wairarapa," "Land, Te Aro," the more complete description required by the Act, either of the property or place of abode of the claimant, may be supplied to the Court during the Revision of the Lists, either by declaration made before a Justice of the Peace, a production of title deeds, or other evidence.
