The 'Eliezer' left Auckland on Thursday the 31st March, but called at Waiheki, and was detained a week receiving timber for this port. On her voyage hence to Auckland, she left on Saturday afternoon, and arrived on Tuesday morning, although 8 hours becalmed and having, when near Auckland, to beat against a head wind. There were no vessels laid on for this port, the Surprise having been taken off the berth. Trie 'Wonga' left Wellington on Monday evening last, at 6 o'clock, and arrived in Napier harbour at \ past 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning. She -was detained 6 hours at Castle Point receiving on board 9 bales of wool and 5 tons cargo for Wellington. On her last voyage hence to Wellington she beat the 'White Swan' as far as Bare Island, when the north-east breeze ceased, and a strong head wind set in, which enabled the 'White Swan' speedily to pass her rival. The latter was 26 and the former 32 hours making the passage. The 'Wonga,' however, was 3£ hoursendeavouring in vain to make Castle Point. The 'White Swan' arrived yesterday morning, having made the passage from Wellington in 21 hours. The barque 'Aeasta' from London, had arrived in Wellington. Also, the brig 'Union' from Sydney, with cargo for Napier, for which port she would sail shortly. The 'Burnett' was ioading »t Sydney for Napier and Wellington. The 'White Swan' lor Auckland, and the 'Won--gx Wonga' for Wellington, sail tliis morning.
