THE HORSE TAMING SECRET.

Disciples of Mr. Rnrey seem suddenly to have sprung up in every quarter <;f the globe — the advertising columns of . oui exchange, files toeming with announcements to the effect that one or other of Mr, Jtairey's pupils will give' a public exhibition. One of those gentlemen has lately visiled -"Wellington, as will be seen from the following paragraph extracted from the "Independent" of the 6th inst.

Hobse Taming. — An exhibition of Professor Harey's method of horse taming took iplice ryesterday , at tb« Lyceum Theatre. Mr. Robert Cameron, who is a certificated operator, recently acquired the art in Mel•borirney ami proposes to communicate it to persons hci'e. Several of the gentlemen Avhose names have been subscribed to the Bond of Secrecy, were accordingly invited to witness the taming of a vicious horse "belonging to Messrs. Luxford. This horse bites, kicks, plunges and otherwise amuses itself when attempted to be caught, and on being caught is fully as dangerous and useless as all such vicious animals generally are. After the horse had been let, loose in the tlieatre, Mr. Cameron was for some considerable time unable to lay hold of him, but within a quarter of an hour afterwards the brute was as docile as possible, and submitted to be mounted by any one, with all the nonchalance of a livery hack. The experiment was pronounced decidedly success r ul ai.d now that Mr. Cameron's powers have been rrale manifest, his course of instruction will no doubt "be largely attended.
