We observe that the inhabitants of the capital are extremely dissatisfied with the mail arrangements, under which Nelson and New Plymouth have both priority to Auckland in the delivery of the mails. A farewell banquet had been given in the square of Albert Barrack, to the soldiers of the 58th regiment, by the citizens generally. It is represented as having formed a very imposing spectacle.
