The " Sea Serpent" and "Lucy James" left Wel■liiigton on th.c 7th inst.*, and had to beat up the whp\d Vdjb of coast, agamut nor-easterly winda. -

Ellis, well known in this port, had taken command of the "Emily Allison " The cutter " Surprise" .was advertised in Wellington for Auckland, calling at-Alniriri, should sufficient encouragement offer. The " Oliver Lang," Capt. Mundle, sailed from the Eiver, for Wellington direct, on the 15tU June with a large number of passengers, about 160 of whom have been sent for by their "friends in this Province. The latest date 3 from New Zealand received in London were the 27th March.
