WELLINGTON REFORM ASSOCIATION.
The following letter has been received per Wonga Wonga, in reply to that forwarded on a recent occasion by the Chairman of the Ahuriri Settlers' Association. To Capt. J. C. Lambton Carter, J. P. Chairman of the Ahuriri Settlers* \ Association. Wellington, Feb. 23, 1858. Sir, — I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the Bth Dec. last in reply to that which I was directed by the Wellington Reform Association to address to you on the 25th Nov., and I have now on the part of that body to express to you its sense of the courteous and conciliatory dis- , position therein displayed by the Ahuriri ! Settlers* Association. We shall be glad to receive from you any further communication on the important subjects to which those letters refer, and we are convinced that results satisfactory to both parties cannot fail to ensue from a correspondence continued in a similar spirit.
