NOTICE. rPHEUNDERSIGNED begs to inform •*- the settlers of the Ahuriri and Hawke's Bay District, that- he has purchased Mr T. H. FitzGerald's store &c, at Waipureka, where he will be able after the Ist November next, to RECEIVE, STORE, and FORWARD all WOOL and GOODS intrusted to his care, either to or from Napier. He will also keep on hand a SUPPLY of MERCHANDISE, suited either to the European or Native trades, which he offers or sale at the lowest possible remunerating prices. Pie will also keep a DRAY and HORSES plying constantly between Waipureka and Napier, for the carriage of settlers' goods, now that the Punt is regularly working. JAMES B. FERGUSON.
