THE DIRECTORS beg to call attention to the advantages peculiar to this Society — Amongst others are the following — Ist. Extensive and peculiar privileges have been accorded to it by the Parliament of the Colony under the Acts of Council, 7 Vie. No. 10, and. 14 Vie. No. 11. 2nd. It is a Colonial Institution, and the Directors have adopted from the experience of 150 years of Kindred Institutions in the Mother Country, whatever plans seem to have proved most useful. The result is that this Society has already attained a degree of prosperity unequalled by any similar institution. 3rd. All the profits revert to the members, and these, it must be borne in mind, accumulate at compound interest at the high rate ruling in the Colony.
