Okaiawa

Miss J. Hosie, of Inaha, was a visitor to Okaiawa during the week. Mrs Blackman, of Opunake, is the guest of her sister, Mrs J. C. Barclay, at Okaiawa. An address was given by Canon J. H. Sykes (Manaia) to the Okaiawa Bible “Class Union, his subject being “"Fear of God, fear of men and fear in economic and industrial relationships.” Mr J. Wards acted as subleader and extended a hearty welcome to Canon Sykes. Owing to members finding it difficult to attend through the busy part of the season, it was decided to close the class in a fortnight’s time.
