MOTORIST’S STATEMENT
AIAY HAVE BEEN AN ACCIDENT INJURY TO SCHOOLBOY (By Telegraph—Press Association). FEILDING, Nov. 6. Reading in the Press that a schoolboy home last night was knocked down by a motorist at a street corner, C. Robson junr. went to the police this morning and made a voluntary statement. He said lie was the driver of a car. Heavy rain was falling at the time. He noticed a bump but thought it was a stick on the road. Seeing nothing, he drove on.
The victim. Trevor Finch, was convoyed to Hospital "with concussion. His condition is satisfactory to-day.
