Judgment was given by Mr W. H. Woodward, S.M., at the Eltliam Courthouse this morning in a defended civil action in which J. Taylor and Co. Ltd., Flitliam, claimed £2O 94s Gd from Mrs M. A. Inder (Dannevirke), being balance due under a hire purchase agreement for a milking machine purchased from the plaintiff company. Mr Woodward gave judgment for Taylor and Co., less 14s for interest, which was not provided for in the agreement, with costs £5 13s Gd, and also in a counter-claim by Mrs Inder for £6B 18s Gd. In the counter-claim it was alleged that the machine and installation were faulty, with resultant loss. The case was first heard at Dannevirke and in September and October at Eltham.
