ALPINE CLUB COMMITTEE

ARRANGEMENTS FOR SKI SPORTS:

At a meeting of the committee of the Alount Egmont Alpine Club held on Tuesday arrangements were made for the club ski sports to be held during the week-end. A party, with preference to competitors, will occupy the Syme Hut for the week-end, while other members will make the trip under Air Cl Dingle’s leadership.

Correspondence was received from the secretary of the New Zealand Ski Council with reference to the proposed visit next winter of Air C. Wyatt, English ski expert, and it was decided to reply that the chib would be pleased to co-operate in any way possible. The tentative arrangements are for Air Wyatt to put in a short period with the Taranaki clubs in September next.
