Stanhope, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, has left London for Geneva where he will represent the British Government in the absence of Mr Anthony Ecten and Lord Cranborne, who are engaged at home in the election contest. v A meeting of the Committee of Eighteen will be held to-morrow to consider the reports of five sub-eom-mittees which have been discussing technical questions arising from the application of sanctions, including the question of clearing agreements and additions to the list cf prohibited key exports.
