BUDGET IMPROVEMENT FORECAST. - - ' ; ■ (United Frees Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). SYDNEY, Sept. 11. The New South Wales Parliament was opened to-day with colourful ceremony. The Governor’s speech outlining the Government’s policy emphasised that the Ministry, without in any way endangering financial stability, intended to pursue a progressive policy ensuring further economic recovery and the relief of unemployment. The Ministi-y expected the budgetary position would be improved by £l,•300,000 in the coming year. A further reduction in rail freights for primary products would be adopted in addition to a reduction in the wages tax:.
