The Waihi Hospital Board last night received three applications for the position of senior sister and four for junior sister. Senioi- Sister Sussmilch, of Wanganui, and Junior Sister H. D. Grant, of Auckland, were appointed. Six staff nurses were required. Only three applied. Two were appointed, while the appointment of the third applicant was held in abeyance pending the receipt of references.
