One track of the Wellington-Napier goods train was derailed this morning on a loop about 100 yards on the south side of the Langlands flag, station, two miles' (.south from Hastings. There evidently was no obstruction on the line, but the cause of the mishap has not yet been ascertained. Fortunately, the truck fell on its side away from the duplicate line, and the. NapierWellington express was able to get through without delay. Neither the ran nor the line was damaged, except to a. trifling extent. Tt is expected to take some hours to right the van.
