Colman • is- Obstinate. •Ronald Colftian is being obstinate about his part, in “A Talc of Two Cities.” He just cannot be persuaded to play the dual roles of Sidney Carton and Charles Darnay. His decision sounds strange, considering that he played a dual part so successfully in “The (Masquerader.” Or perhaps that experience put him off. However, an alternative is being considered. Laurence Olivier, may play the Barfiay part. There is a definite xe.sembldncG between Colman and Olivier that has often been remarked.

Samuel , Golilwyn. purchased sixty high stools—of the type on which the teacher used to sit the class dunce kjor punishment—-soon after starting the lovely Crinoline dance number in ‘ ‘Kid; Millions, ’’ Eddie Cantor’s new screen musical comedy, at the Opera House on Saturday and Monday. Between seepo^--and rehearsals, a wardrobe womiu was assigned to slip the stools under the voluminous skirts, of the dancers, so that each girl could sit down and relax without endangering the .crisp ruffles and lace of her costume.
