LONDON, June 25. Prince Arthur, in the presence of the Rt Hon. G. W. Forbes and Mrs Forbes, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Mrs Coates, Sir Jamfts Parr and his daughter and many other New Zealanders, ■unveiled at New Zealand House a fulllength. portrait of the King, a gift from Mr T. B. F. Davis, a South African millionaire. Prince Arthur attended at short notice, owing to the absence of the Duke of York, who was temporarily indisposed with a slight cold and temperature. Prince Arthur expressed the hope that some day he would visit New Zealand, upon which Messrs Forbes and Coates pressingly invited him to como and try New Zealand’s fishing.. Me Forbes said tbe portrait wouu proudly be welcomed in New Zealand and would be hung in the National Art Gallery at Wellington.
