The subcommittee of the Senate’s unofficial silver bloc lias decided that Air Alorgenthau’s recent letter on administrations of the silver policy is most unsatisfactory. The full silver group will meet on Wednesday to discuss the letter and a proposed plan of action for consideration by Congress. The -silver group contends that purchases should go on in accordance w ith the law stipulating that buying should continue until silver reaches, a fourth of the total of the metallic .currencyreserve.
