Slowness of Meat Negotiations Causes Unrest

LETTER TO HOME SECRETARY MEETING NEXT WEEK (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received 1.15 p.m. to-day. LONDON, June 14. The “Sun-Herald’’ says that although tlio Australian delegates are expecting a meat meeting early next week they still await an intimation from the British Government.

The New Zealand delegates are dissatisfied with the slowness of the negotiations. The New Zealand Prime Minister, the- Rlt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, has sent a letter to Mr J. H. Thomas, Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs, intimating that he is returning to New Zealand at the end of June, hut so far has not been informed when negotiations are likely to conclude.
