JUDGMENTS FOR DEBT

PATEA MAGISTRATE’S COURT. Judgment by default was awarded by Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M., in the following civil claims heard at the Patea Magistrate’s Court on Thursday:— Patea Butchery v. J. Cameron, £8 8s 3d; W. T. Simmons v. Horace Scown, £3 11s 6d; Patea Borough Council v. F. J. McMahon, £5 3s Id. On judgment summons orders, Robert W 1 Wills' Was ordered to pay A. J. Cooper £2 Bs, in default two days’ imprisonment; Weki Taniwha was ordered to pay L. J. Waldron £2 11s 9d, in default three days’ imprisonment; Wi Tamati was ordered to pay R. A. Adams and Sons £8 17s Gd and solicitor’s fee las 6d, in default nine days’ imprisonment; Walter Henare was ordered to pay A. 11. Langslow’ £3, in default three days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended as long as debtor pays 10s a month; Pike Broughton was ordered to pay W. M. Aitehison, Ltd., £l4 11s Gd and solicitor’s fee £1 Is, in default 15 days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended as long as debtor pays £1 a month.
