RIGHTS OF WOMEN CUSTOMERS
LIQUOR SERVED IN HOTELS AUCKLAND BENCH COMMENT (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 5. “Women have just as much right to be served with liquor as men have,” said Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., chairman of the Auckland Licensing Committee, at a meeting of the committee to-day. “The committee cannot order women to be kept out of hotels. If they are to be excluded it will be by educative influence, which must proceed from some other source than the licensing bench.”
