Dr. Dafoe, Davis C'roll, child welfare officer, and nurses attended a party at the hospital. In an international broadcast the quintuplets gurgled into the microphone. A thanksgiving mass was celebrated in a nearby church. “Everybody is fine," said the mother, “but I will continue my campaign to have the babies turned over to mo."
