WEEK-END MATCH AT PATEA
WIN FOR SECRETARY’S TEAM At the Carlyle golf links last Saturday a match between the captain and seyretary’s teams v(as played, the secretary’s team winning by a small margin. Results were us follow:—Currie won from Harris, Taylor lost to Roots, McGregor lost to Mellor, Blyde won from Green, H Boagey halved with Palmer, Sheild lost to Horner, Haddow won fjrom C. Roots, Lester halved with Moore, M. Boagey won from Taylor, Gillan lost to Jackson. Totals: Captain’s team, 4; secretary’s team, 5; halved, 2.During the afternoon tea was provided by Mr and Mrs D. Roots.
