RACING AT HASTINGS COEONILLA TAKES THE PLYING WEBSTER’S DOUBLE VICTORY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, May 5. The autumn meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club opened yesterday. Concluding results are:— HAWKE ’.S'■ BAY CUP. Of £l5O. One mile and a-quarter. 2- Red Manfred, 9.6 (Webster) 1 3- Big Dook, 7.7 (Atkins) .. 2 6-G Sunny Sky, 7.5 (Tattersall) 3 Also started: 1-1 Cuddle 9.G, 4-4 Inflation 8.10, 8-8 Curie 8.10, 5-5 Speed 8.3, 7-7 Gainsfied 7.5, 9-9 Peggy’s Joy 7.0!
Sunny Sky and Curie set the pace and led for five furlongs, followed by Cuddle, Big Dook, Inflation and Red Manfred. Curie retired at the five furlongs, leaving Sunny Sky in charge from Big Dook, Inflation and Red Manfred. This quartette had the race to tnemselves from that point, but Red Manfred came away in the straight and Avon by two lengths, with the same distance between second and third. Inflation was fourth. Time, 2.9. .

Coronilla and Good Hunting were in the lead all the way, the former coming away in the straight and winning bv two lengths. The third horse- was three lengths away. Time, 1.14.
