SNOW; SLEET AND HAIL. CELEBRATIONS AFFECTED. (By Telegrapn—rrcss Association.) OH RJS'I'OHURCH, To-day. A severe southerly storm raged over Canterbury during the week-end, accompanied by sleet and rain, with snow in the back country. Rain continued to-day. affecting the many jubilee celebrations, but a spectacular parade of. territorials -was- held this morning in Hagley Park, where a fair crowd attended.
