HAWERA CHURCH SERVICES

The Hawera Municipal Band, the Main School Band, and the Hawera Volunteer Fire Brigade will parade to the Methodist Church, Regent Street, to-morrow morning and take part in the service, the bandsmen playing for the hymns. In the evening Mr Metson’s subject will be: “The Wonderful Book.” Visitors and friends are heartily invited to these services.

Ihe annual week of prayer and thanksgiving arranged by. the Baptist Union of New Zealand will begin tomorrow. At the Hawera Baptist Church, Argyle Street, special missionary addresses will be delivered. Preacher, Rev. John Ings. Communion at close of morning service. On Wednesday afternoon a women’s missionary meeting wil be hold at the home of Mrs Ings at 2.45. Friends-made welcome.
