AIRS V. E. LE LIEVRE, AKAROA.

CHRISTCHURCH, To-day.

The death has occurred at Akaroa of Airs Victoire Elizabeth, le Liovrc, aged 83. She was a daughter of Francois le Lievro, one of the French settlers who landed at Akaroa in 1840. Mrs le Lievro 'had a family of eighteen-, of whom ton daughters and three sens were still alive. Altogether, there are 103 living descendants.
