Andrews has recovered from a sprained ankle. The New Zealand team is being coached in London and the Australians go to Eastbourne on May 4 to practice for the cup tie.

At the Browne tennis tournament in the third round of tho men’s singles Austin defeated Avory 6 —o, 6—o, 6 2. In the women’s singles, third round, Miss Stammers defeated Mrs Hopman 6—4, 6—3.
