Australian Flag Flown Oyer Hotel at Dublin HONOUR OF MR. & MRS. LYONS REPUBLICANS FEARED

After searching Dublin and finding one of the few Australian Hugs available, the proprietress of the Royal Hibernian Hotel, at which Mr and Mrs J. A. Lyons are staying/ displayed it. It was flying for barely an hour when the police advised its removal, as ,‘tjho incorporation of.the Union Jack might provoke the more ardent Republicans to tear it down.
Mr and Mrs Lyons in the afternoon visited Kildare, the home cf "Mr Lyon’s mother’s, family. To-?npivew lie unofficially calls ori Mr Do "V a leva. He then goes to Belfast at the invitation of Lord Craigavon. Hoi and his party are the guests of the British Empire League throughout the tour.
Dublin presented a strange appearance. Owing to the long continued bus and tram strike the population has taken largely to bicycles, with which the streets are crowded.
