STAGE CAREER, IN LONDON. (From Our Own Correspondent). (By Air Mail). LONDON, March 30. Miss Aiidrey Pointing, the Sydneyborn actress, has become the new Lady Doverdale. Her husband Mr Oswald Partington, succeeded to the peerage this week on the death of his father. Miss Pointing, who is 25, married Mr Partington in London five years ago. One of her leading engagements here was an understudy to Miss Gertrude Lawrence in the London production of Noel Coward’s “Private Lives” in 1930.
