PILOT’S THIRD ACCIDENT
SYDNEY SHARK; PATROL PLANE NOSE DIVE "INTO PADDOCK (United Fkc Ajieociatlaii—By Electric Teteg»pb Copyright) SYDNEY, April 14. In his third accident while flying a sharp patrol plane Ernest Collibee, aged 30. suffered injuries to the head and body. A passenger, John Harrison, aged 24, received a fractured leg. The engine failed while the plane was flying near Manly. Mr Collibee attempted to land in a paddock and nose-dived in trying to avoid children playing there. Tile plane was wrecked.
Mr Collibee’s condition is serious
