The condition of Miss Dulcie Tenzer is considerably' improved, and she is regarded to be out of -danger, but some day's will elapse before detectives question her regarding events leading to the shooting of herself and Miss Yvonne Officer.

Detectives collected, minute fragments of a letter found in the vicinity of the motor car used on the date of the shooting. The vital part, however, is missing, having been blown away by' the stiff southerly' that was blowing when the tragedy' occurred. Miss-Officer and Miss Tenzer wrote frequently to one another, allegedly' on the most trivial matters, and on- many occasions (Miss Officer discussed a possible world tour for herself and Miss Tenzer. It is expected that sensational evidence will be tendered at the inquest. An earlier message stated that police investigation into the shooting allegedly shows that Miss Officer’s cheque book disclosed that several cheques were from time to time made out to Miss Tenzer who, when she recovers, will be asked to explain them. The police also ascertained that the girls were great friends. On one occasion Miss Officer remarked: "If ever anything happens to Dulcie I want to be buried in the same grave.’ 1 Miss Officer was partial to male attire, and often dressed like a man in her own district of Stockinbingal with her hair cropped and combed in man-like fash-
