In December the King accepted a proposal by the Royal "Warrant Holders’ Association, as an expression of loyalty and appreciation o: the celebration of bis jubilee, to build, equip, furnish and endow a house named The King’s House, which will be at the disposal of the Sovereign for accommodation of anybody His Majesty thinks worthy of indication o: the Royal favour.
